| Former Shamrock Stone passes away |

The Shamrock Nation and lacrosse in general, suffered a great loss this past week with the passing of 24 year old former Intermediate and Junior Shamrock Player, Scott Stone.
Scott played for the Intermediate Shamrocks in the 2005 Provincial Gold Medal and 2006 League Championship seasons.
He moved on to play for the Junior Rocks from 2007 to 2009 including a Silver Medal at the Minto cup in 2008.
As a Senior, Scott was drafted by the Nanaimo Timbermen where he played one season.
He will always be remembered for what he brought to the floor but as importantly, what he brought to the dressing room, truly a team player. |
