LacrosseTalk National Rankings
Almost three weeks into the 2009 BCJALL season and LacrosseTalk has come out with their national rankings. Teams from BC have a bit of a jump on the Ontario and Alberta leagues with regards to scheduling, and are well represented in the top ten.
After winning their top seed match against the Victoria Shamrocks, the Coquitlam Adanacs are placed 2nd in Canada with their unblemished record of five wins and no losses.
With only one loss so far, and tied with the A's at ten points, the Shamrocks are ranked fourth in the nation; and also with only one game in the loss column (with three games played) are the New Westminster Salmonbellies who sit at sixth spot on the list.
Gracing the ranks with an honorable mention are the much improved Delta Islanders with their 2-2-0 record. Compared with last years final standing of seventh place (6wins, 15losses), just three weeks into the season their only two losses have come at the hands of defending BCJALL champions Victoria, and both games were decided by two or less goals.
